Skills
- Proven leadership of DSP engineers in communications and/or EW domains
- Strong background in DSP design and implementation for embedded devices and SDRs
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for algorithm development and prototyping
- Experience deploying algorithms on FPGAs and GPUs; familiarity with CUDA or GPU acceleration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and software defined radios
- Working knowledge of deep learning and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch preferred)
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards (Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G, Wi‑Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS)
- Experience with Electronic Warfare systems and RF signal processing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and larger engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor DSP engineering team in design and delivery of DSP/ML algorithms for communications and EW applications
- Drive DSP trade studies and performance/cost/latency optimization for deployment on FPGAs, GPUs, and embedded platforms
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate DSP algorithms into software-defined radios and system firmware
- Oversee implementation, verification, and profiling of DSP algorithms on target hardware (FPGA, Jetson, GPU)
- Provide technical and programmatic leadership, interfacing with program management to meet schedule and budget targets
- Guide adoption of GPU-accelerated and embedded ML techniques and ensure maintainable, production-ready implementations
- Support system-level testing, field integration, and customer demos; travel as required
Education
- BSEE or related field (required) with DSP exposure
- MSEE with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing preferred
