Responsibilities
- Lead NPI manufacturing development for maritime munition and energetic payload products
- Collaborate with energetics and product engineering to drive DFX/DFM into munition system designs
- Design/select tooling and create/optimize end-to-end production processes for capacity, reliability, and safety
- Oversee outsourced explosive and subsea assembly/test service providers and coordinate supplier capabilities
- Generate and maintain BOPs, MBOMs, MES routings, and detailed work instructions
- Project-manage production milestones including test validation, equipment bring-up, delivery, and sustainment
- Apply LEAN and statistical methods to reduce defects and improve throughput
- Create control plans informed by up-to-date DFMEA and PFMEA
- Coordinate frequently with EHS, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Deployment teams
- Manage initiatives across the full product lifecycle for energetic payload programs
Education
- BS or higher in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
- Relevant manufacturing or electromechanical engineering experience
