Skills
- Proven experience with insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and incident response
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets from SIEMs, data lakes, EDR, DLP and other telemetry
- Knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft, counterintelligence concepts, and mitigating controls
- Hands-on experience with EDR and DLP tools and forensic tooling
- Ability to develop scripts or tools (Python, Go) to automate detection and response workflows
- High discretion and capability to handle highly sensitive investigations
Responsibilities
- Identify, triage, investigate, and remediate insider-threat related detections and anomalies as a front-line responder
- Own end-to-end insider threat investigations, including evidence collection, analysis, and reporting
- Design, evaluate, and implement controls to reduce attack surface and mitigate insider risks
- Perform threat hunting across telemetry sources to uncover suspicious insider activity
- Develop dashboards, metrics, and reports to streamline incident response and investigation workflows
- Collaborate across teams to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Build and improve custom tooling and automation to reduce manual investigative tasks
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5+ years relevant experience
- Or 7+ years of security analyst experience without a degree
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance
