Responsibilities
- Own development and deployment of electromechanical and edge compute/communications products in partnership with the Program Chief Engineer.
- Lead and mentor a team of program managers to meet strict schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate multiple hardware production teams, manage supply chains, and ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries at scale.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with DoW customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Autonomously translate ambiguous technical and operational requirements into deliverable program plans across multiple programs.
- Design and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for planning, scope and risk management, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with finance and business development to create sustainable pricing and proposal strategies.
- Assess team capability, drive hiring and development decisions, and foster a high-performance culture focused on rapid iteration and fielding.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems, program management, or related field preferred
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted
- Professional development in program management, systems engineering, or related disciplines advantageous
