Finalsite is seeking a Director of Technology Services who will lead the delivery of data and system integration services for client onboarding, ensuring high-quality implementation experiences for K-12 schools.

Skills: Strong experience in data integration, implementation in SaaS environments, excellent communication, and client management skills, along with technical acumen in SQL, Python, and system architectures.

Qualifications: 5–10 years in Professional Services within a SaaS or EdTech environment, with proven leadership in large-scale implementations, experience with CRM and CMS systems, and familiarity with change management.

Location: 100% Remote - Anywhere within the US, limited to permanent residents of the United States.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $120,000 - $180,000.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Director, Technology Services is a senior leader within Finalsite’s Professional Services organization, responsible for delivering data and system integration services during client onboarding to Finalsite. In this role, you will partner with the leader of project management to deliver an excellent overall client implementation experience, and you will directly own and define the portion of the technical implementation experience covering complex data and system integrations.

You must be adept at explaining complex subjects to non-technical clients and be able to lead them through change successfully.

You will be seen as a thought leader in the data and system integration space at Finalsite, providing input to the product and sales teams, and partnering with the support team to deliver a delightful client experience before, during and after implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation Excellence

Define Finalsite’s implementation methodology for data and system integrations, with a focus on consistency, quality, continuous improvement, and client experience.

Build repeatable processes that scale

Define KPIs for data and system integration work, such as billable utilization, time to value, etc.

Technical Acumen

Achieve a deep understanding of Finalsite products and EdTech Industry 3rd party systems and APIs (SIS, CRM, LMS, data feeds, APIs )

Experience in data ETL and scripting languages, SQL, Python, SFTP, XSL

Knowledge of CMS, website development and data requirements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Work with sales leaders to ensure that sales is trained, enabled, and able to explain the implementation process for data and systems integration, with a specific goal to set accurate client expectations.

Create documentation and process to allow seamless the transition of clients to CSMs and Support, enabling those teams to handle the vast majority of data and system integration requests and issues.

Partner with Product and Engineering to design product features, APIs and automation to both improve the client experience and Client Success team efficiency

Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop technical services staff

Serve as a member of the professional services leadership team, reporting to the VP of Professional Services. Contribute to overall PS team strategy and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

5–10 years of experience in Professional Services, Implementations, or Technical Delivery within a SaaS or EdTech environment

Proven experience leading large-scale implementations and integrations for enterprise or mid-market clients

Strong understanding of system integrations, data migration, APIs, and SaaS architectures

Demonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing teams

Excellent communication and client management skills. This is a client facing role.

Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience with global or distributed teams

Familiarity with CRM, SIS, CMS, and enrollment or communications platforms

Background in change management and process transformation
