Production Manager (2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 2am)
Skills
- Proven manufacturing leadership and team development skills
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and tools (SPC, KPIs)
- Experience with electronics manufacturing and reading electrical schematics
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, power supplies, data acquisition)
- Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong root cause analysis and continuous improvement capabilities
- Understanding of product development lifecycle, reliability, and compliance testing
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage front-line production team members and support staff; conduct training and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with EHS programs and 5S standards; partner with EHS to continuously improve safety.
- Maintain product quality through QC processes, corrective actions, and variability reduction.
- Develop and execute production schedules in coordination with production planning to meet demand.
- Create, refine, and enforce process instructions; ensure team training and adherence.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment utilization and uptime.
- Drive accountability using SPC, KPIs, performance data, and data-driven problem solving.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field
