Skills
- Experience with product quality in aerospace, defense, or related systems
- Knowledge of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, composites, propulsion, and systems integration
- Proficiency with quality methodologies: FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA), and GD&T
- Experience with test and measurement system development and statistical analysis tools
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes and supplier quality
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive quality processes across product development stages including design reviews, testing, qualification, and production readiness
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and system reliability
- Build and maintain quality plans using product maturity frameworks and deliver to program schedules
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities and share lessons learned
- Define, implement, and maintain Quality Management System elements and required documentation
- Create and provide quality metrics and reporting to stakeholders
- Prepare for and lead customer onsite audits and compliance reviews
- Investigate failures, anomalies, and non-conformities and drive remediation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field (required)
- Advanced technical degree or quality certifications preferred
