- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong visual storytelling and technical communication skills.
- Experience with storyboarding, service design, or technical illustration.
- Ability to translate complex technical or military concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant work and visual problem solving.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with chief engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to capture and refine technical narratives and mission concepts.
- Design service blueprints, storyboards, CONOPS illustrations, and engineering diagrams that stand alone and convey a clear narrative.
- Produce executive- and customer-ready artifacts suitable for briefings, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Maintain visual consistency and contribute to an asset library of reusable diagrams and illustrations.
- Conduct lightweight user research or stakeholder interviews to validate visual communication approaches.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, technical illustration, service design, or related field.
