Material Flow Engineer, Intelligence Systems
Skills
- 5+ years in high-rate manufacturing with complex mechanical/electrical assemblies
- Experience designing factory layout, value stream mapping, continuous/one-piece flow
- Material flow design expertise: pull systems, Kanban, min/max, lineside presentation
- Experience with Siemens Plant Simulation / Process Simulation or similar tools
- Familiarity with MES, WMS, and ERP systems (Oracle or similar)
- Strong data-driven decision making and KPI ownership
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand electronics and mechanical manufacturing processes
- Experience managing capex budgeting and approvals
Responsibilities
- Own metrics, KPIs, and reporting for inventory movement, accuracy, and financial impacts to operations
- Produce and maintain tools and dashboards communicating manufacturing health across teams
- Design production lines and workstation layouts using Value Stream Mapping, process mapping, and line balancing
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks from layout, parts, staffing, and other constraints, coordinating cross-functionally
- Drive reporting and analysis to provide inputs for Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Growth decisions
- Implement scalable solutions that deliver local benefits and can be adopted globally
- Lead both small efficiency improvements and major projects with executive visibility
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering preferred
- Equivalent experience in high-rate production environments accepted
- Relevant training/certification in Lean manufacturing or operations simulation preferred
