Responsibilities
- Drive NPI manufacturing development for maritime munition and energetic payload products
- Collaborate with energetics and product engineering to implement DFX/DFM across payload systems (sensors, interfaces, electronics, fuses, effectors)
- Develop and optimize end-to-end production processes to meet capacity, reliability, and safety targets
- Oversee explosive and subsea service providers for outsourced assembly and testing operations
- Generate and maintain BOPs, MBOMs, MES routings, and work instructions
- Project manage production milestones including test validation, equipment bring-up, delivery, and sustainment
- Apply LEAN manufacturing and statistical methods to reduce defects and improve throughput
- Coordinate cross-functionally with EHS, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Deployment teams
- Create control plans derived from updated DFMEA and PFMEA
Education
- BS or higher in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing or electromechanical hardware experience
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance
