Responsibilities
- Ensure RMF compliance and implement NIST SP 800-53 security controls across classified systems.
- Maintain and update security artifacts (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs) and support ATO processes as ISSO/ISSM.
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain Windows server environments (physical/virtual) and virtualization platforms.
- Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
- Manage user access provisioning, deprovisioning, account permissions, and audits across secure domains.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and optimize system/network performance.
- Monitor system health, perform backups, apply patches, and handle incident reporting and audit logs.
- Ensure continuous operation of classified communications systems including VoIP, DVTC/VTC, and unified communications.
- Coordinate with multiple organizations (Signal Brigades, NECs, INSCOM, DoD CIO, DIA) and support DISA inspections.
- Support project planning and execute system migrations, deployments, and upgrades; automate tasks using scripting.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- Relevant technical certifications or equivalent work experience accepted
