job Overview


This role forms an integral part of the Amerigo Recruitment team and will be based in the United States. The position reports to the Senior Regional Director, OnShore. The On-Shore Recruitment Manager is responsible for developing and executing a student recruitment strategy across the U.S.A and Canada targeted at international students seeking to enroll in Amerigo’s programs. The role includes building and managing Amerigo’s regional network of business partners and recruitment channels, along with building and managing marketing campaigns that drive enrollments to Amerigo’s school partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developand manage channel accounts and partnerships to achieve enrollment targets for all secondary school partnerships
  • Implement student recruitment strategies
  • Establish efficient and streamlined processes for all stages of the recruitment process (inquiring, application, assessment, offer, acceptance, visa applications, orientation, etc.) with strong focus on conversion
  • Report on all phases of the recruitment process to senior management, utilizing technology systems
  • Establish priorities, oversee projects, and monitor workflow and enrollment trends
  • Maintain maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
  • Travel extensively to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with current and prospective students, families, agents,and other external institutions and vendors
  • Maintain an ongoing and pro-active connection with Amerigo student families to ensure a positive experience while proactively resolving any issues that may arise
  • Performs any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possession of an Accredited 4-Year University Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, International Relations, or related area
  • 2+ years of experience in the international education/recruitment industry in given country or region
  • Demonstrated deep network and relationships within the education industry with a strong working knowledge of key international markets, programs, and products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills and an ability to foster a customer service ethic within the work team
  • Proficiency with technology and reporting programs/systems, familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Language ability: fluent in Mandarin
  • Ability to work in the hiring location without sponsorship
