Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leader in the commercial payments solutions space. This exciting and fast-growing business seeks to drive the success of businesses around the world, rooted in the truth that when our business customers thrive, so do we. American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. The GCS Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end global marketing strategy and distribution plan for our prospect & customer segments around the world.  

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Develop compelling creative strategies tailored to commercial audiences to influence content development.
  • Derive insights from the competitive landscape and customer feedback and synthesize to develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Document marketing processes and backlogged opportunity areas and drive future prioritization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Technology, Legal, Compliance and other collaborators.
  • Assist with ideation of marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and prospect growth. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in commercial payments and marketing. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex concepts or problems.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to continually learn about the changing payments landscape and new technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional partners to deliver value
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated resilience,can do’ attitude, and optimism in changing circumstances.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Proficient in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint. 

Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
