POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing apprentice instructors, instructors and activity assistants in their daily job performance. Interact with guests and other departments on a regular basis and trains staff as needed. Assists with creating a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, while helping staff teach children and/or adults how to ski and/or snowboard.
Starting wage between $36.00/hr. - $41.44/hr. depending on experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate equipment as trained
- Must be an effective communicator who acts as an ambassador of service for the Company internally to staff and externally to guests with respect and maturity
- Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and guest policies.
- Provide documentation of current membership status for a PSIA/AASI Level II Ski or Snowboard Certification
- Strong technical skills needed for accurate daily reporting of Ski and Ride School (SRS) statistics.
- Extensive knowledge of the SRS operations, resort policies/procedures, teaching experience and management skills
- Completion of the On-Hill Skier and/or Snowboarder Certification, depending on discipline
- Completion of the required training checklist
- Completion and passing of the discipline appropriate Clearance Card for each level of skill-based lessons
- Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays at any of the BBMR resort locations
