We are seeking a results-driven Product Manager, Product Management who combines industry expertise, technical acumen, and leadership skills to guide a cross-functional Scrum team in designing, developing, and delivering key capabilities for our Financial Analytics and Accounts Management value streams. This role is responsible for product backlogs spanning financial analytics, insights delivery, and third-party system connectivity. The Product Manager will drive innovative solutions that provide financial institutions and their clients with actionable insights, robust account management tools, and enhanced decision-making capabilities—ensuring alignment with Alkami’s strategic objectives, client needs, and platform vision while partnering closely with engineering, design, data science, and other cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities & Duties
Product Vision & Strategy
Contribute to the product vision and strategy, ensuring features align with organizational strategy and client value.
Maintain awareness of industry trends in financial analytics, data-driven personalization, account management, and extensibility.
Requirements & Backlog Management
Partner with clients, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to capture and document business and technical requirements.
Define user stories and acceptance criteria; ensure requirements are well understood by engineering.
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog for analytics and account management capabilities, adjusting based on feedback, market needs, and technical feasibility.
Delivery & Execution
Lead a cross-functional Scrum team (engineering, UX/UI, QA, data) to deliver on roadmap commitments.
Lead relevant Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure the team adheres to Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines and resource requirements for features and enhancements.
Monitor progress against sprint goals and KPIs; adjust priorities to maintain delivery momentum.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring alignment and transparent communication.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, client success, and implementation teams to ensure smooth go-to-market and adoption of new features.
Engage with clients to gather feedback on analytics accuracy, usability, and account management workflows.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Use behavioral analytics, usage data, and performance metrics to prioritize features that deliver measurable value to financial institutions and their end users.
Partner with the data team to design and evaluate high-value insights for both retail and commercial segments.
Risk & Quality Management
Identify risks impacting delivery timelines or product quality, and proactively manage mitigation plans.
Ensure all releases meet Alkami’s quality, security, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, digital banking, or SaaS platforms.
Proven experience with financial analytics, commercial or retail banking platforms, or account management solutions.
Strong understanding of insights delivery, cash management, and digital engagement strategies.
Familiarity with modern UI architecture and component-based design to deliver scalable, maintainable, and intuitive user experiences
Familiarity of ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and their integration patterns.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and experience leading cross-functional Agile teams.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to lead with sense of urgency
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment
Proficient in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, GSuite).
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and a focus on measurable outcomes.
