We’re looking for a Technical SEO Manager to scale and optimize our global SEO efforts, drive high-intent organic traffic, and improve revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity to join the Global Growth Marketing Team and shape the technical foundation of our SEO approach.
In this role, you’ll support the Director of SEO in developing a best-in-class technical SEO strategy, ensuring our site architecture, performance, and discoverability set us apart. You’ll work cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Product, RevOps, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful technical solutions. Your work will influence Airwallex’s global organic footprint, helping us capture SMB demand across multiple markets.

Own the technical SEO roadmap, ensuring site architecture, crawlability, and indexation are optimized at scale.
Partner with Engineering to scope and execute technical changes impacting SEO, including structured data, internal linking, site speed, and international SEO (hreflang, localization).
Proactively identify technical issues and optimization opportunities across the website, ensuring Airwallex is ahead of algorithm and SERP changes.
Lead site audits (crawl errors, redirects, canonicalization, duplicate content) and work with developers to implement fixes.
Ensure site performance and Core Web Vitals are optimized across global markets and devices.
Collaborate with the Content and Web teams to ensure on-page optimizations (metadata, schema, headings) follow technical best practices.
Expand and scale our off-site backlink strategy by ensuring technical health supports authority growth.
Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives with SEO-informed landing page testing.
Establish monitoring, tracking, and reporting processes to measure technical SEO performance and its impact on growth.
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
4+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical SEO role (preferably in-house for B2B, SaaS, or Fintech).
Proven track record of driving growth through technical SEO initiatives at scale.
Strong understanding of international SEO and multi-language/multi-domain strategies.
Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Familiarity with website architectures (CMS, headless CMS, SPAs, server-side rendering vs. client-side rendering).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into technical insights and business actions.
Experience with Core Web Vitals, site speed optimization, and web performance best practices.
Deep knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and enterprise SEO tools.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup culture, growth-minded and hands-on.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree.
Working knowledge of server log analysis and crawl budget optimization.
Experience with automation and SEO at scale (APIs, Python/SQL for reporting or audits).
Familiarity with structured data markup and schema.org implementation.
Understanding of EEAT principles and their technical implications in YMYL industries.
Strong alignment with product and engineering teams, with a proven ability to influence prioritization
