Job Description:
Job Summary: Provide comprehensive administration, PMO and process/procedural coordination of various elements of Airbus Flexrotor business activities in support of the Managing Director. In alignment with company priorities, the CoS will lead a variety of program, process and project management activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: 40%
Streamlining daily operations.
Oversee and improve internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across various departments.
Establish and standardize project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in project delivery processes and propose solutions.
Develop and implement process improvements for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.Strategic Alignment & Execution: 30%
Work closely with the Managing Director to define, communicate, and execute Aerovel's strategic objectives, aligning them with the broader Airbus Helicopters Defense & Security strategy.
Ensure alignment and progress on priorities alongside the managing director.
Maintain a strategic project portfolio roadmap that directly supports Aerovel's and Airbus's overarching strategic objectives.
Implement a framework for prioritizing projects based on strategic value, resource availability, and risk.
Regularly review project progress against strategic goals, identifying and addressing deviations.
Provide the Managing Director with comprehensive reports on the strategic impact and status of key initiatives.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: 20%
Facilitating effective communication.
Foster internal and external relationships, focusing on marketing activities, (i.e. social media and press releases).
Be a central point of contact for stakeholders, communicating on organizational updates, facilitating communication between Aerovel and Airbus corporate functions.
Ensure the Managing Director is well-informed and prepared for meetings, decisions, and strategic discussions by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Prepare executive-level project summaries and presentations for the Managing Director and leadership.
Act as a liaison between project managers, functional leads, and the Managing Director to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Manage and track stakeholder expectations related to project deliverables and outcomes.
4. Community Outreach: 10%
Support the implementation of community outreach projects with employees and in support of a broader Airbus approach to community engagement, education, positioning AIrbus as a community leader and growing brand awareness in the Region.
