Skills
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin for backend development
- Experience designing and launching backend systems and services
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release engineering practices
- Strong debugging skills and ability to navigate large codebases
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code
- Good verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and launch backend services and tooling for CI/CD, ephemeral environments, and release engineering
- Break down larger projects into tasks, deliver iteratively, and collaborate with tech lead and product partners
- Participate in product ideation, articulate technical constraints, and help make informed trade-offs
- Create and monitor operational metrics, support availability, and participate in on-call rotations
- Review code, debug large codebases, provide constructive feedback, and mentor peers
- Contribute to hiring and team growth activities such as interviews and knowledge-sharing
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
