Your Role:
As the Finance Coordinator, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day processing of financial transactions, vendor management, credit card reconciliation, tax coordination, and reporting for the Wisconsin program. You’ll serve as the go-to person for vendor communication, internal financial inquiries, and compliance documentation—playing a critical role in the fiscal health of our early learning programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely invoice submissions and vendor payments
- Maintain and code financial documentation for general ledger accuracy and fund allocation
- Support payroll, tax filing, and employee benefits reporting in collaboration with Support Center teams
- Assist with financial audits, reporting, and logistics for finance-related meetings
- Respond to vendor inquiries, manage petty cash, and coordinate office financial operation
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in financial administration, preferably in nonprofit or education settings
- Familiarity with vendor management, invoice processing, and financial software systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel; experience with Certify or AP systems a plus
