THE WORK:
  • You’ll conduct thorough reviews of program plans, schedules, and deliverables to uncover potential areas of vulnerability or uncertainty. 
  • You’ll facilitate risk workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to capture a wide spectrum of risk scenarios. 
  • You’ll develop and apply risk assessment tools and frameworks to systematically evaluate program exposures and prioritize mitigation efforts. 
  • You’ll maintain comprehensive risk registers, documenting identified risks, their potential impacts, and status updates as programs progress. 
  • You’ll ensure mitigation and contingency plans are in place, regularly reviewed, and adapted based on changing program landscapes. 
  • You’ll liaise with team leads to confirm timely execution of risk response strategies, emphasizing early intervention when indicators of escalating risk are detected. 
  • You’ll leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to evaluate the likelihood and potential impacts of identified risks. 
  • You’ll develop risk models and simulations, such as Monte Carlo or sensitivity analysis, to forecast possible scenarios and support data-driven decision-making. 
  • You’ll communicate risk considerations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, assist in executive risk updates, and support periodic training initiatives. 

  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs. 


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or statistics

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk analysis 

  • Proficiency in Primavera Risk and @Risk 

  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000, PMBOK, or COSO

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skill
  • Proficiency in Excel and risk analysis tools, including @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Power BI


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in dynamic or challenging environments 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex risk data into clear and actionable insights 

  • Experience preparing risk summaries for executive audiences 

  • Familiarity with stakeholder feedback integration and continuous improvement of risk methodologies


$115,000 - $125,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
