Responsibilities
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and higher education to expand work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, and job-shadowing.
- Monitor labor market trends and align CTE pathways to in-demand careers.
- Support development, implementation, and monitoring of CTE pathways and Career-Based Intervention (CBI) integration.
- Assist schools with compliance, audits, reporting, and data collection for CTE student enrollment, performance, and credential attainment.
- Serve as a regional thought partner and resource for CTE and CBI instructors and school leaders without direct supervisory authority.
- Identify curriculum, equipment, and resource needs and coordinate with national teams.
- Deliver professional development, share best practices, and ensure consistent communication between schools and the national CTE office.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Career-Technical Education, Workforce Development, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Active Ohio Professional teaching license required or ability to obtain
- CBI endorsement required or ability to obtain upon hire
