Skills
- Experience managing firewalls, switches, and wireless equipment from Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista, Juniper
- Enterprise Wi‑Fi deployment and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and IPsec VPNs
- Familiarity with protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark
- Network automation and IAC experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM and QoS technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Implement and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security solutions to meet corporate IT and scientific computing needs
- Apply information security principles rigorously in delivery of network services
- Manage and support connectivity across locations in Asia, the US, and Europe
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, ensure uptime, and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in a global on-call rotation and incident response
- Build and maintain high-availability infrastructure using clustering, load balancing, and redundancy
- Automate network provisioning and configuration using IAC tools
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent work experience
