Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of analytics engineers transforming raw data into trusted data assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and prioritize analytics engineering tasks
- Define and execute technical roadmap focusing on scalability, maintainability, and business impact
- Create and enforce best practices for data modeling and transformation using DBT and Dagster
- Develop production-grade analytics models with performant SQL in cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
- Manage and optimize analytics tools such as Looker and Amplitude for self-service analytics
- Collaborate on data governance, quality, and lineage improvements with Data Engineering and Product teams
- Establish and track metrics on developer efficiency, model reliability, and value delivery
- Lead hiring and onboarding for the analytics engineering team
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent experience
