So how does this actually work? Over 70% of employer-sponsored health plans are self-funded, meaning the employer acts as the insurer and directly covers employees' healthcare costs. This allows companies to customize benefits, gain flexibility, and save money. Self-funded employers partner with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to handle the behind-the-scenes plan administration, like processing claims and managing benefits.
Yuzu is a vertically integrated & tech-enabled TPA, serving over 10k members. We are a fast-growing company with many opportunities for career advancement and experience.
You will be an everything person. You will talk to and problem solve with customers. You will serve as a Product Manager to prioritize tasks for engineers. You will build materials for sales and model out growth. You will compile notes from advisors about product constraints. You will do market research. You will draft and edit contracts.
You will be responsible for communicating challenges across Customer Success, Product, and Sales and helping to lay out the foundation for long-term communication structures.
Your job will change completely every 3-6 months as we automate repetitive tasks and grow our business.

2-5 years of experience in an operational role, consulting or finance experience is a plus.

Salary range: $110-$160k depending on experience and preferred equity versus cash compensation.
