The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to define and drive Wrapbook’s Reporting & Analytics strategy and to act as the product lead for our Front-End Platform team.
In this role, you will set the long-term vision for how reporting and analytics show up across the Wrapbook platform—determining which data, reports, and insights should be productized at scale versus delivered through bespoke or one-off solutions. Reporting & Analytics is a major opportunity for differentiation at Wrapbook, and this role will be critical in transforming it into a strategic advantage for our customers. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Client Operations, Sales, Design, and Data teams to understand requirements, identify valuable insights, and deliver intuitive reporting tools that address gaps and unlock customer value.
You will also serve as the Product Manager for Wrapbook’s Front-End Platform engineering squad, ensuring the team is focused on the highest-impact platform investments. This includes driving adoption of shared front-end components across Product and Design, establishing consistent UX patterns, and enabling teams to build faster while delivering a cohesive, high-quality experience no matter where customers are in the app.
This role sits at the intersection of data, platform, and customer experience and is ideal for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity, can balance near-term delivery with long-term strategy, and enjoys shaping foundational capabilities that unlock leverage across the entire organization.
What You’ll Do
Define and own the end-to-end strategy for Reporting & Analytics at Wrapbook, positioning it as a long-term product differentiator for customers across production, accounting, and finance workflows.
Identify and prioritize near-term reporting and analytics gaps across the platform, balancing urgent customer and internal needs with scalable, productized solutions.
Develop a clear long-term vision for Reporting & Analytics, including which data, reports, and insights should be standardized and productized versus delivered through bespoke or one-off solutions.
Translate that vision into a concrete, multi-phase roadmap, outlining the specific investments, sequencing, and tradeoffs required to move from today’s state to a differentiated future state.
Work with Data Engineering, Platform, and Feature Application teams to deliver scalable reporting tools, dashboards, data models, and analytics capabilities.
Define success metrics and leading indicators that measure adoption, customer value, and business impact, and use those metrics to evaluate progress and course-correct when needed.
Own the product direction for the Front-End Platform team, enabling shared components, consistent UX patterns, and faster, high-quality product development across Wrapbook.
Drive adoption of shared front-end components and UX patterns across teams to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience and to accelerate product development.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Client Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to deeply understand customer workflows—particularly for accounting and finance users—and translate concrete reporting needs into scalable product solutions.
Lead discovery and decision-making in ambiguous problem spaces, framing clear problem statements, aligning stakeholders, and making informed tradeoffs.
Champion data-driven decision-making internally, improving access to trustworthy insights for teams across Wrapbook.
What You’ll Have
8+ years of product management experience, including significant time owning data, reporting, or analytics products.
Proven track record of shipping reporting tools, business intelligence features, dashboards, or data-centric experiences at scale.
Ability to synthesize complex data needs across multiple stakeholder groups and translate them into clear product direction.
Experience working tightly with data engineering and analytics teams.
Strong experience owning product direction for data-heavy experiences—partnering closely with accounting and finance users to translate their specific needs into scalable, well-designed product solutions.
Strong cross-functional leadership—you’re comfortable navigating competing priorities and driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Client Ops, and Sales.
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward clarity, rapid learning, and decisive execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including framing decisions and presenting insights to leadership.
Exposure to maturing product organizations — helping improve prioritization, roadmap clarity, or go-to-market readiness.
Extra points if you have
Domain Expertise: Experience in fintech, payroll, entertainment production, accounting, or other regulated domains.
Front end UX: Experience working on front-end components and partnering with design teams to craft intuitive UX for data-heavy products.
Scale-Up Experience: Worked at a high-growth SaaS or scale-up company, helping to mature product processes while maintaining speed and agility.
Customer Research & Discovery: Experience running customer discovery or usability testing to inform product direction.
