Job Title: Manager, Creative Services (Social Media & Content)
A little bit about our team:
Creative Services is a global department committed to amplifying our songwriters and iconic music catalogs, driving engagement and building legacy through strategic marketing, content creation, brand partnerships and storytelling. Creative Services develops and executes campaigns and projects with strategic partners that keeps our songs at the center of culture across all media platforms including social media, Film/TV, Web3, Theatrical, print and orchestral. We work with hit songwriters and dive deep into our legendary catalog, sharing their incredible stories with the world and providing new opportunities for their songs including new cover creation, interpolations, and sampling.
Your role:
This new role will be focused on delivering content strategy and content creation across Creative Services initiatives including: running day-to-day on owned and operated channels (including Cover Nation) and the social media channels we run on behalf of our legacy clients, as well as content creation for campaigns and other marketing needs. It demands a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of content across social media platforms, content production, and a keen ability to create engaging visuals and narratives.
You'll also not only manage the social media presence of our owned and operated channels (not WCM) but also be actively involved in creating compelling content. You'll need to be proficient with various content and production tools, leverage AI for video creation, and possess strong editing skills to ensure our content is polished and impactful.
Here you’ll get to:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for legacy catalogs and the Cover Nation channels, aligning with overall brand objectives.
Manage industry and partner outreach to secure sponsored posts and other paid opportunities for Cover Nation channels.
Manage day-to-day operations of all assigned social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
Drive content creation strategy and execution for marketing and campaign content needs working closely with the Creative Digital Strategy, and Marketing teams respectively.
Manage global content workflow and LA content studio, including content archive maintenance and footage management.
Lead the content creation process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and on-brand assets.
Utilize and stay up-to-date with various content and production tools for image, audio, and video editing.
Ensure all content adheres to platform-specific requirements and best practices, keeping up-to-date on individual platforms nuances, algorithm changes and updates.
Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights to optimize strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content consistency and support broader marketing initiatives.
Manage and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all assets - working with multiple stakeholders on content and caption approvals.
Collaborate with the Creative Digital and Global Marketing teams to provide content creation support for marketing campaigns and songwriter digital platforms.
Evaluate and provide feedback on existing social footprints as part of wider digital audits performed by the Creative Services team.
About you:
Proven experience in social media channel/account management, content creation, workflow and content performance across social media platforms.
Demonstrable expertise in video editing and a strong portfolio of creative work.
In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Snapchat) and their respective features and content requirements.
Proficiency with industry-standard content creation and production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
Experience with or a strong understanding of AI tools for video generation and editing.
Excellent understanding of current social media trends, analytics, and best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
