We are seeking an experienced Director for Customer Data Product to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of our customer data platform. This role is pivotal in shaping how customer data is modeled, enriched, and accessed across all front-end applications via high-performance APIs. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure our customer data capabilities are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise goals.
Role Responsibilities
Product & Architecture Leadership
Define and validate the technical architecture, data models, and solution designs for the customer data platform.
Own the API layer that powers real-time, low-latency, high-SLA integrations across all customer-facing applications.
Design and build validation services for different components of the Customer Data that will be used by the front-end applications to accept valid profile data - Ex: Phone, Email & Address.
Design and build enrichment services with 3rd party systems to enrich customer data.
Ensure the platform is scalable, compliant, and optimized for performance and reliability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as the primary technical liaison for internal leadership, product teams, and third-party vendors.
Translate complex data and architectural concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Facilitate technical reviews, steering committee meetings, and design signoffs to ensure alignment and transparency.
Delivery Oversight & Risk Management
Oversee multiple technical workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
Track progress against milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and develop contingency plans to safeguard delivery timelines.
Lead triage and support efforts for real-time APIs, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption.
Engineering Enablement & Governance
Guide engineering teams on design, development, integration, and deployment of customer data capabilities.
Promote best practices in coding standards, security, and DevOps processes.
Ensure adherence to enterprise IT governance, security policies, and regulatory standards.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
15+ years in Information Technology, with 10+ years focused on data platforms and enterprise data ecosystems.
Deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), operational data processing, and customer data enrichment.
Proven experience with AWS public cloud services and modern data architecture patterns.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-performance, real-time APIs with strict SLAs.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and delivery.

Salary
The base salary range is $150,000 -$210,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
