Product Manager (Money)
SoLo Funds is one of the leading financial technology companies for underserved communities, on a mission to enable financial autonomy for all. SoLo launched in 2018 as an on-demand marketplace where members can request and fund loans for emergency needs. We are a VC funded Fintech company backed by Techstars, and have partnerships with Visa and Kiva.
We are seeking a Product Manager to help craft and execute product initiatives for the platform’s card and payments infrastructure, reporting directly to the VP of Product. In this role, you’ll be tasked to address complex micro and macro factors that influence our members' money movement experiences, analyzing Product KPIs, hypothesizing areas of opportunities and unmet needs, and advocating for the best solutions to ensure the healthy growth of the debit product through meaningful value propositions for our members. You’ll use your experience with cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders on product initiatives, and seamlessly prioritize and articulate your product roadmap across business functions.
Please note: we are only reviewing PMs with banking or money transfer experience at this time. This position is located in Los Angeles, and in office 2x a week.
What You'll Do
Own money movement at SoLo Funds, including wallet deposits and withdrawals, loan fundings and repayments, payments fraud, external payment methods, and debit card issuing/management
Own feature product development from conception to launch, defining and analyzing metrics to guide product development in order to create exceptional experiences for our members
Own product meeting and leadership responsibilities including standups, sprint planning and retros, weekly recaps, ticket and sprint board management, documentation of progress and analyses, and communication with teams across the organization
Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Recoveries, Data, Legal, Compliance, and Design on customer pain points and opportunities
Synthesize quantitative/qualitative member insights from help desk tickets, app store reviews, social media etc.
You’re a Great Fit if You Have:
3+ years of product management experience, including mobile app experience
Consumer banking product experience, or related fintech experience
Experience with user research, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to support the prioritization of initiatives
Experience working on a marketplace or consumer-based product
You’re an All Star Fit if You Have:
Experience working on money movement in the US
