WGU is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement by optimizing supplier relationships and ensuring efficient operations. This role will focus on securing quality products and services to enhance student experiences in higher education.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include evaluating supplier capabilities, managing bid processes, negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and maintaining compliance with purchasing policies.
Skills: Candidates should possess knowledge of purchasing principles, negotiation skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a minimum of 2 years in procurement, supply chain, or business experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
Location: The position is primarily remote but will transition to an in-office role in Raleigh, North Carolina, expected by mid-2026; local residency or relocation is required.
Compensation: $66300 - $99500 / Annually
