Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams following company protocols and standards of care
- Assess ocular health, refractive status, and provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Communicate eye health, eyewear options, and prescription recommendations clearly to patients
- Demonstrate product knowledge and advise patients on frame and lens features and benefits
- Document exams and patient interactions accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with optical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality customer experience
- Act as a brand representative and support patient education and community outreach
Education
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Kentucky optometry license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- DEA or other controlled substance registration if applicable (per state requirements)
