Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test supervisory distributed energy resource control and telemetry applications for heterogeneous OEM hardware
- Build production-grade software optimized for resource- and bandwidth-constrained environments, including bare-metal and virtualization platforms
- Collaborate closely with energy solutions partners to integrate with proprietary hardware and on-prem software stacks
- Define and implement OTA update mechanisms and remote access solutions for deployed on-prem systems
- Drive and enforce best security practices for critical infrastructure and cyber-physical systems
- Mentor and support junior engineers and promote test-driven development and high-quality engineering standards
- Work with unreliable/mesh network environments to ensure resilient, fault-tolerant operation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred
- Equivalent industry experience accepted
