Skills
- Expertise with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Extensive experience with Python (10+ years) and familiarity with Node.js
- Strong background in workflow systems and event-driven architectures
- Proven API design experience, including GraphQL subscriptions
- Advanced memory management and complex debugging skills
- Experience building runtime environments and optimizing performance
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
- Use of AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, ClaudeCode, Codex) to augment development
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain workflow-driven and event-driven systems
- Architect, build, and optimize scalable backend services and functional UIs
- Design and maintain modular APIs (including GraphQL subscriptions) and integrations
- Create and optimize runtime environments for performance, reliability, and memory efficiency
- Conduct deep system-level debugging and complex testing to resolve production issues
- Leverage AI coding tools (LLMs) to accelerate development and improve output
- Ensure solutions emphasize security, operations, observability, and identity management
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and drive architectural direction
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required
- Demonstrated continuous learning in systems, cloud, and AI technologies
