Skills
- Mastery of JavaScript (scoping, closures, prototypes, classes)
- Expert-level React and modern state/data libraries (React Query, Zustand, etc.)
- Deep understanding of coordinate system conversions and projections
- Experience building realtime or collaborative UIs and offline-first patterns
- Familiarity with 2D graphics (Canvas API, Konva) or GPU/WebGL programming
- Strong product and design sensibility for polished UX
Responsibilities
- Design and build a sync engine for an offline-first collaborative editor
- Implement a visually engaging, realtime floorplan and map editing surface
- Develop power-user features (camera line-of-sight analysis, AI range tooling)
- Work closely with Product and Design to craft polished user experiences
- Experiment with and adopt cutting-edge browser features and graphics APIs
- Mentor teammates on frontend best practices and architecture
Education
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
- 7+ years of industry software engineering experience
