Skills
- 6+ years building backend systems in industry
- Mastery in at least one server language (Python or Go)
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale architectures
- Working knowledge of Redis and DynamoDB or similar key-value stores
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)
- Proven ability to design microservices and manage high concurrency
- Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work onsite five days per week
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems to support hundreds of thousands of devices
- Develop and operate high-concurrency key-value and relational data stores (Redis, DynamoDB, Postgres/MySQL)
- Create and deploy microservices in a modern service-oriented architecture
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions across platform projects
- Mentor and grow junior engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-grade services
Education
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Equivalent practical industry experience considered
