Salesforce Software Test Engineer III (Manual)
Skills
- 4+ years QA experience with at least 2 years on Salesforce applications
- Strong UI testing and REST API testing experience (Postman or similar)
- Proficient with SQL/SOQL for validating complex datasets
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, cases, and reports
- Familiarity with defect triage, severity/priority assessment
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic automation experience using Java and Selenium (preferred for building test tools)
Responsibilities
- Create and execute complex test scenarios spanning multiple system components, including Salesforce UI and integrations
- Design test cases that cover complex business logic and integration flows
- Perform REST API and web services testing and validate results against backend data
- Analyze defect patterns to identify root causes and support defect triage
- Produce and maintain detailed test documentation: plans, cases, and test reports
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align testing strategies
- Lead end-to-end and integration testing efforts and contribute to automation using Java where applicable
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement activities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus
