Software Engineer – Full Stack / Cloud Services

Valinor Harbor is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the cloud and UI infrastructure that powers our field medical platform. You’ll design real-time systems that route data from the edge to clinicians, build intuitive UIs for field medics, and ensure security and resilience in adversarial environments.

• Build secure, scalable cloud-native services to support real-time medical workflows
• Develop clinician-facing interfaces for interacting with streaming video and telemetry
• Implement robust APIs and protocols to integrate with edge systems
• Design for degraded connectivity, offline scenarios, and secure data relay
• Work with the Harbor GM and mission owners to shape the product roadmap

• 5+ years experience in backend and frontend software development
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js and a modern JS framework (React preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience designing REST/gRPC APIs and secure communication protocols
• Strong DevOps instincts and a systems-thinking approach
• Willing to travel and collaborate hands-on

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare or DoD environments
• Preferred: Familiarity with WebRTC, RTMP, or HLS streaming
• Preferred: Experience with medical data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)

This role requires the candidate be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the TOP SECRET level.
