Job Summary
As the Head of Finance for North America, you will be responsible for the financial integrity, reporting, compliance and performance monitoring of Valiantys’ operations across the region. Working closely with the regional General Manager, the Group CFO and their direct reports, you will provide insightful, actionable financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making, plans execution and sustainable growth in line with the company and regional vision and strategy.
This position plays a central role in maintaining sound financial governance in a fast-paced, multi-entity and international environment, including a U.S. Federal entity with stringent information-sharing restrictions.
You will set the strategic direction and vision for the regional finance team, while upholding high standards of reporting, cash management and financial control under a Private Equity ownership structure.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Financial Performance & Reporting
-Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) for North America including Federal scope, ensuring alignment with group consolidation standards.
-Lead budget, forecast, and multi-year planning processes, analyzing performance against targets in collaboration with FP&A to support GM NA and Group CFO.
-Oversee Federal reporting and ensure compliance with internal information control policies.
Accounting & Compliance Oversight
-Supervise all accounting operations to ensure GAAP compliance, timely closings, reconciliations, cut-offs, and accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
-Manage tax compliance in the US and in Canada (federal, state, provincial, VAT/sales tax) and lead external audits in collaboration with CPAs and tax advisors.
-Ensure robust internal controls, enforce group accounting policies, and provide guidance to local accounting teams.
Cash Management & Treasury
-Monitor daily cash positions, ensure liquidity, and manage regional banking relationships in coordination with Group Treasury.
-Develop and maintain reliable short- and mid-term cash flow forecasts, aligned with Group Finance requirements.
-Optimize working capital management to anticipate and cover funding needs.
Business Partnering & Operational Support
-Act as a strategic finance partner to the North America General Manager, Federal and North American operations leaders, translating financials into actionable insights and supporting performance management.
-Align financial data with operational KPIs to drive decision-making and regional execution.
-Lead monthly business reviews and represent the region in group performance discussions.
Project Support & Financial Transformation
-Drive post-acquisition integration efforts across systems, reporting, and governance; support legal structure optimization with key stakeholders.
-Lead or contribute to ERP and PSA system rollouts (e.g., federal NetSuite migration), ensuring process consistency with other regions.
-Identify and implement financial process improvements and support ad hoc strategic initiatives such as M&A or due diligence.
Your Team and Partners
-Be the key finance contact point for the North America General Manager and their direct reports.
-Lead and manage the North American accounting team (3 FTEs), treasury (2 FTEs), integration lead (1FTEs), and oversight Valiantys Federal finance (3FTEs).
-Collaborate with the Group FP&A team, other regional Directors (Europe & Asia), Group Treasury and Revenue Management teams.
-Shape the Finance team’s vision to reflect and support the broader strategic objectives of the company and region.

Education & Background
You have a proven track record in financial control or senior finance roles in the US and in Canada. You’ve demonstrated proven leadership in successfully leading international finance teams, often operating remotely across multiple entities and time zones. Your background includes exposure to private equity or LBO settings, and experience with U.S. government clients or organizations handling restricted information is a strong plus. You are highly proficient in Excel, comfortable with ERP systems such as NetSuite, and ideally familiar with Kyriba. You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, and preferably a CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent professional designation.
