Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team.  As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth front office operations. 

  • Greet and welcome visitors, employees, and clients in a professional manner
  • Collect Copays
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Apply for insurance authorizations
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage general email inquiries
  • Maintain an organized front desk and reception area
  • Coordinate and manage Therapist schedules
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Support administrative tasks including filing, copying, and scanning documents
  • Assist with basic office equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of front office or reception experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and office equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
