About the Role
We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to distribute and integrate Unto Labs products and Thru's novel scaling approaches into real-world settings. You will roll up your sleeves to work with 3rd parties to integrate and ensure projects are successful. Whether it be in large enterprises, new startups, or innovative government settings you will live and breathe crypto, rapid prototyping, and become an expert in the Thru blockchain to drive industry-defining solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner Integrations & Project Success

• Integrate 3rd‑party “wallet as a service,” RPC, indexing, node services and other 3rd party providers.

• Architect and execute end‑to‑end solutions in collaboration with external protocol teams to establish them on Thru’s chain.

Technical Advocacy & Ecosystem Enablement

• Act as a hands‑on technical advisor to 3rd party development teams building solutions atop the Thru blockchain.

• Work with ecosystem teams to optimize their products, programs, and leverage Thru’s features to their full potential.

• Contribute enhancements, tooling, documentation, and best practices based on learnings.

Core Infrastructure Contributions

• Contribute to core node software alongside engineering teams enhancing performance, reliability, and protocol features.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Proficiency

  • Deep understanding of traditional financial products and primitives (e.g., stablecoins, lending, transfers, settlement systems).

  • Expertise in TypeScript and modern web product development tooling.

  • High-level familiarity and experience with blockchain constructs: smart contracts, wallets, bridges, oracles, RPCs, Layer 2s, and secure primitives.

• Client‑Facing & Project Delivery

  • Strong track record (e.g., 5+ years) working directly with clients or ecosystems, driving projects to completion.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration experiences.
    

Nice-to-Have

• Hands‑on experience with DeFi or stablecoin integrations, KYC/on‑ramp systems, and cross-chain flows.

• Background in building developer SDKs, dashboards, or internal tools (e.g. for integration workflows or system observability).
