Job Description:
This position provides technical and office support for survey projects, assisting in preparing various survey deliverables while taking on greater responsibility for independent tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform survey tasks with minimal guidance from the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.
Complete intermediate-level drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Review and verify the accuracy of data before submitting for review.
Prepare detailed field packages, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
Conduct occasional field checks and provide feedback to field crews.
Compile, analyze, and manipulate survey data for use in reports and deliverables.
Assist with deed research and abstracting, creating base maps, and processing data into final drawings.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
4-6 years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills for moderately complex tasks.
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
