Early Career Electrical Engineer
Skills
- Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers).
- Software development process knowledge (git, GitHub, JIRA).
- Experience with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB interfaces.
- Embedded Linux development skills including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and other programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Haskell.
- Electronic design automation tools experience, e.g., Altium Designer.
Responsibilities
- Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system integration.
- Troubleshoot electrical and software issues using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fully functional products.
- Support new developments, deployments, and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.
Education
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
