Role Overview
You’ll own the IT vision. This role demands a leader who can shape and execute technology
strategy, drive automation and AI initiatives, secure systems, and build high-performing teams—
all while aligning IT with the business’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
● Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an IT roadmap that aligns with business
goals.
● Innovation & AI: Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies—especially
automation and AI.
● Infrastructure & Security: Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and
cybersecurity programs.
● Data Governance & Analytics: Drive enterprise data initiatives to turn information into
actionable insight.
● Budget & Vendor Oversight: Manage IT budgets, assets, and vendor relationships.
● Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to deliver tech-enabled business solutions.
● Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire an IT team focused on innovation and
operational excellence.
● Compliance: Ensure regulatory and cybersecurity standards are consistently met.
● Resilience Planning: Maintain disaster recovery and continuity plans.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s a plus).
● 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience (construction industry preferred).
● Proven track record aligning IT strategy with business outcomes.
● Expertise in infrastructure, systems architecture, and enterprise support.
● Hands-on experience leading automation, AI, and digital transformation projects.
● Strong background in data governance, analytics, and compliance.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Salary & Compensation – Wendell, NC Market
● Base Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 (based on experience and industry
expertise)
● Bonus: Performance-based incentive plan
● Total Compensation Potential: $155,000 – $210,000+ with bonuses and perks
This range reflects current market data for IT Directors in the Raleigh–Durham/Wendell region,
factoring in onsite requirements, industry specialization, and leadership scope.
Additional Information
● Onsite Role – This position is 100% onsite at the Wendell headquarters.
● Occasional travel to job sites and remote project locations is required.
● Must be capable of lifting equipment up to 25 lbs.
