About the job

We are a fast-growing technology company launching a high-value strategic media property (long-form video/podcast) designed to establish thought leadership and strengthen our positioning in the market.

We are seeking a highly organized, deliverables-driven Head of Operations to serve as the project manager and logistical center for this critical pilot phase.

This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire (C2H) role with a clear path to a full-time leadership position upon successful completion of the pilot.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be the primary owner of production reliability and process efficiency, ensuring the project maintains its aggressive weekly cadence. Responsibilities include:

• Production & Process Ownership: Defining, documenting, and enforcing the end-to-end production and editing workflow. Accountable for ensuring the team adheres to a strict weekly publishing cadence.

• Studio & Infrastructure Management: Managing the setup, build-out, and ongoing operational readiness of the Connecticut-based studio space. This includes inventory, maintenance, and technical oversight (working closely with the Head of Videography).

• Talent & Guest Logistics: Managing all production schedules, including the Host, Videography team, and high-profile, external guests (e.g., C-level executives, top-tier investors). Overseeing the full guest lifecycle, from confirmation and briefing to travel.

• Risk & Deadline Management: Proactively tracking project milestones and ensuring all deliverables are met to unlock subsequent phases of project funding.

• Platform Deployment: Coordinating the setup and deployment of episodes across all target distribution platforms (e.g., YouTube, audio podcast feeds, social channels).

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in media production management, video/podcast operations, or complex project management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage physical logistics and operational readiness for a media or event space.

• Proven track record of success in managing executive-level talent and external guest relations.

• Expertise in scheduling, resource allocation, and leveraging project management tools to enforce deadlines.

• Must be able to work from the Connecticut studio location.

Compensation

• Salary Range (C2H): $90,000 - $120,000 (annualized rate, paid hourly or monthly based on contract).

• Full-Time Potential: Successful completion of the pilot phase (Mid-Jul 2026) leads to potential conversion to a salaried, full-time employee (FTE) role with expanded compensation and comprehensive benefits.
