Institutional Repository Coordinator

Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.Microsoft.com, then access Find Jobs from the Workday search bar to view and apply for open positions. Summary of Job Duties:

The Institutional Repository Coordinator manages the daily operations of the digital and data repository, including uploading material, entering metadata, and maintaining key documents. The coordinator is required to work on campus. This position is located in the Open Education, Publishing, and Data unit of the University Libraries and reports to the head of that department.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications. 

  • At least four years of employment experience in a library

  • Relevant experience with Excel spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of employment experience at an academic library

  • Experience working with html and/or xml

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

  • Customer service orientation

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Effective time management skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Effective written and oral communication skills
