- 5+ years production experience in Python
- Experience shipping complex systems with significant customer impact
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks (LLMs, ML frameworks, tooling)
- Cloud and API development experience (AWS/GCP, REST/gRPC)
- Observability and production reliability practices for ML-enabled services
- Cost-aware engineering for AI workloads
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate customer-facing features integrated into core product workflows
- Develop and maintain internal services that provide stable, reusable interfaces for other teams
- Productionize AI/ML workflows with observability, fallback strategies, and cost controls
- Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to determine appropriate AI solutions
- Facilitate cross-functional communication, proactively surface blockers, and report status and impact
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Additional relevant graduate degrees (e.g., MS) are a plus but not required
