Pros

+ Turquoise is the best company that I have worked at. + Smart, caring, and low-ego C & VP level. + Thoughtful People / Talent team on making the company an enjoyable place to work at and high-performance culture. + "Solved" remote-first work with engaging in-person co-working weeks and retreats. Best of both worlds. There is no replacement for in-person but 100% on-site is way too rigid for my taste. I believe Turquoise has cracked the code on making remote-first work well by having fostering just enough in-person interaction to feel connected with your colleagues. + You will learn a lot and work with smart people with strong technical and healthcare domain experience. + If you come from traditional healthcare, it will be refreshing to work in a tech-forward team.

Cons

- Career growth and planning. The company has more than doubled since I joined. Your career growth rate might feel overly tied to your manager, which is not something that you control. TQ appears to be investing more in management training and strives to hire managers who can act as Individual Contributors when needed. - Strategic focus. We are self-admittedly trying to execute and excel across multiple products and services. That's okay, but I think we need to be thoughtful and careful to avoid diffusing our efforts too thinly. - Business model clarity beyond data licensing.

Building a truly diverse team is a challenge that we do not shy away from and we recognize we still have plenty of work to do. We strongly encourage BIPOC, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ folks to apply for all open roles. Healthcare affects all people differently, but it especially affects those in underserved communities. With a robust, diverse team, we are stronger and better equipped to change the future of healthcare for all.
