Turnitin is seeking a Principal Frontend Software Engineer to design and develop scalable web components using technologies such as React, Stencil.js, and Angular. This remote position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance user interfaces for the educational platform.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include developing reusable web components, optimizing system architecture, ensuring high code quality, mentoring junior engineers, and performing testing and debugging tasks.
Skills: Strong expertise in frontend technologies (React, Angular, TypeScript), web components, performance optimization, and accessibility standards. Familiarity with CI/CD processes is also preferred.
Qualifications: 10+ years of frontend development experience with skills in web components, strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and modern JavaScript, as well as testing frameworks like Jest.
Location: Remote position with preference for candidates in the USA, specifically Atlanta, Georgia.
Compensation: $126525 - $210875 / Annually

Turnitin is seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in modern frontend technologies such as web components, React, and microfrontends. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about designing and delivering intuitive, high-performing, and reliable user interfaces that support our award-winning educational platform.
As a core contributor to our product development team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of both existing and new applications. The expected annual base salary range for this position is: $126,525/year to $210,875/year. This position is bonus eligible / commission-based.
Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if extended, and is determined by work location and a range of other relevant factors, including but not limited to: experience, skills, degrees, licensures, certifications, and other job-related factors. Internal equity, market and organizational factors are also considered.
