Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated configuration and deployment processes to improve platform performance and manageability.
- Create self-service capabilities in the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) using scripting and automation.
- Administer cloud environments and manage administrator/service accounts with accurate documentation.
- Operate and take ownership of services within the team, including incident response and post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate closely with developers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes) and related platform components.
- Continuously improve platform reliability, security, and developer experience.
- Maintain and document networking, security, and system configurations (DNS, SSL, load balancers, firewalls, NAT, NTP).
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance (must have)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background investigation
