Tax Department Intern - The Toro Company

What Will You Do?

As a Tax Intern, you will become a key member of the tax department. You will get the chance to assist on day-to day tasks as well as more specialized tax projects. These projects provide opportunities to add value to the organization and may influence decision-making, growth, and profitability at Toro. General tasks will include:

• Federal and state tax compliance – income tax and sales/use tax
• International tax compliance
• Tax research
• Tax controversy – IRS and state taxing authorities
• Tax planning projects
• Accounting for income taxes

What Do You Need?

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a business related degree program with a graduation date no earlier than December 2025
• Must be interested in a career in a business/finance/accounting-related field
• Must have strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Must demonstrate an ability to take initiative and drive results
• Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and the capability to work as part of a team
• Previous tax coursework is preferred
• Experience in Excel is preferred
