Job Description:
Truist’s Credit Delivery – Asset Based Lending (ABL) Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts on this team will be placed with the Asset Based Lending group and play a meaningful role in supporting senior investment banking professionals.
Our Asset Based Lending group delivers a wide range of financing solutions. We combine market-leading structuring expertise with detailed industry insights and broad distribution capabilities to design a customized strategy that best meets our client’s needs. Analysts will work closely with senior ABL professionals to help drive the growth of the business.
Asset Based Lending is recommended for Analysts with an interest in commercial and corporate secured lending. As an Analyst, you will work closely with the ABL team and contribute to the Origination and Underwriting function of the group while gaining exposure to the structuring, execution, and syndication of loans. Analysts will work with senior professionals in developing models, internal screening materials, and external pitch materials which provide analysis of our clients’ credit and collateral performance. Analysts will take a deep dive into understanding the working capital assets securing ABL loans. Analysts should have strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
The ABL Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.
